Toronto

Okay, Toronto is actually an awesome city. Why? Well, I don't think it's something I can put into words. It's cleaner than any city of its size in the U.S., but that's not it. It's got a wonderful diversity of people and architecture. It's just surprisingly, well, BIG. People are friendly, I guess. But mainly it's just a fun place. We had unbelievably beautiful weather Saturday and Sunday, and we made the trek into downtown both days (we are staying out in the 'burbs). We had dinner atop the CN Tower on Saturday. Yesterday was a boat ride around the harbor (or "harbour" to be Canadian) plus a tour through Greektown, Chinatown, Koreatown, the Portuguese village, the gay village, the Ethiopian neighborhood and just about any place else you can think of. Today it rained so we stayed in the 'burbs and shopped (and slept in). It's just been a really, really great trip. I can see why Toronto doubles for "generic big city" in lots of TV and movie productions. I'm sure people love filming here.
